Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA)

IRMA was founded in 1979 by Dr. Verghese Kurien in Anand, Gujarat. It was set up with the vision of professionalizing management in rural organizations. The institute believes in experiential learning through intense field exposure, which allows students to familiarize themselves with real management issues in rural contexts. IRMA has made a significant contribution to the rural management education in India.
