Defence General Management Program (DGMP) -
Post Graduate Program for Executives - 1 yr
Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
2. Three to ten years of relevant work experience in any business organization after graduation.
3. Applicants must have taken at least one of the CAT/GMAT/GRE examinations, not earlier than five years (for the academic year 2024-25, June 2019 onwards), to apply for the programs.

Selection Process
1. The selection of candidates for admission to the One-Year Post Graduate Program for Executives at IIM Mumbai is a two-step process: short-listing candidates for a written exam and Personal Interviews (PI) and preparing the final merit list.
2. Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI) In this first step, candidates are short-listed from among the candidates: have applied to the One-Year Post Graduate Program for Executives and paid the prescribed registration fees within the window of time specified and satisfies the eligibility criteria for the Programme Candidates satisfying the above requirements shall only be considered for shortlisting. Further, the shortlisting of candidates for personal interview (PI) shall be based on the cut-off for the CAT / GMAT / GRE/ IMET (IIM Mumbai Entrance Test) conducted by the IIM Mumbai, as decided by the Institute. IIM Mumbai reserves the right to change the cut-off in a particular year if required. Shortlisted candidates must attend the PI process. Otherwise, they shall not be considered for the next stage of the selection process and merit list preparation.
3. The merit list for the One-Year Post Graduate Program for Executives shall be prepared based on their weighted performance in the different components as given below: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE=40, X=5, XII=5, Graduation=10,Experience=20,PI=20

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
MBA (Operations and Supply Chain Management) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. Full-time Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university/institution with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
OR
Full-time degree from a recognized university with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in following disciplines. M.Sc. (Mathematics) M. Sc. (Statistics) Dual Degree (Maths and Computing) Minimum 5 yrs. BS./B. Tech (Economics) Minimum 4 yrs.
MBA (Sustainability Management) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Post Graduate Program for Executives in Visionary Leadership for Manufacturing (PGPEX – VLM) - 1 yr
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must hold a recognized first-class full-time bachelor's degree in technological (B.E. or B.Tech.) discipline.
2. Candidates must have at least 4 years (and less than 10 years)) full-time industrial experience across domains such as manufacturing, operations, consulting, as on the last date of submission of application
Logistics, Supply Chain and Maritime Management - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. For Mariners, Graduate with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from any university.
2. Minimum 3 years of seafaring experience after obtaining the First Certificate of Competency.
3. For Non-Mariners, Graduate with a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Minimum 5 years of experience.

What are the eligibility criteria and entrance exams?
For the full-time MBA programs, candidates need a bachelor’s degree (minimum 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwD) from a recognized university The key entrance test is the CAT; for MBA (OSCM), GATE scores are also accepted (engineering streams) Shortlisted applicants then go through personal interviews. Final selection is based on CAT (and GATE where applicable), academic record, and other profile factors. Executive programs (VLFM, etc.) require a bachelor’s degree plus relevant work experience, and selection typically involves interviews/SOPs as detailed on the institute website.

Are there scholarships or loans for IIM Mumbai students?
IIM Mumbai itself does not highlight specific internal scholarships for these programs on its website. Students usually fund their studies through education loans from banks but loans are readily available.
