Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of full-time work experience (as on 31st March 2025) after bachelor’s degree. Relaxation up to 1 year is available for candidates with at least 1-year field experience outside India.
3. Qualifying Examination CAT: Min 50 percentile (overall) or GMAT: Min 500 score (overall). IIM Shillong will consider last 2 years CAT performance or last 5 years valid GMAT score.
Selection Process
Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria is not a claim for admission process/interview call. Based on the number and quality of applications received, the admission committee reserves the right to use additional criteria for shortlisting of applications.
Admission Process
1. Filling of the application form by interested candidates
2. Shortlisting of applicants for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview. The applicants will be informed about this process, once they were shortlisted for the process.
3. Conduct of Group Discussion and/or Personal Interviews. Each applicant is expected to select three venues for this, in the order of their preference. The Institute will intimate the applicants about the final venue and schedule of this process. The differently abled and overseas applicants will have the option to attend this process over online mode.
4. Declaration of successful and wait listed candidates
Post Graduate Diploma in Management Financial Management (PGDM FM) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)].
2. Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience (as on 30th April 2025) after graduation.
3. Qualifying Examination:There will be written eligibility test for admission – Working Executive Management Aptitude Test (WE-MAT). The WE-MAT would follow a similar pattern as the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs.
However, those having either of minimum 50 percentile in CAT or score of at least 500 in GMAT are eligible to be exempted from the above test. IIM Shillong will consider last 2 years CAT performance or last 5 years valid GMAT score.
