The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru Department of Management Studies (DOMS) offers a specialized Master of Management program that targets engineering graduates (BE/B.Tech or equivalent). The program is two years in duration. Any candidate with first class marks in graduation and a valid test of any of the CAT, GMAT, or GATE are eligible. The program continues its history of integrating management with technical education drawing on IISc's world-class scientific research system to prepare graduates who can develop technical systems and manage organizations that govern those systems. The level of engagement the students will have with faculty and other students is rooted in the small class size and residential experience. The program, while allowing hands-on experiences designing scientific systems, is taught within a framework that will place emphasis on technology management, innovation and analytically driven decision-making.
