Master of Business Administration (MBA) - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. Graduates or a professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by UGC, in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PD).
2. Final-year students are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree with minimum percentage and CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date. The percentage will be considered based on aggregate marks/CGPA awarded in qualifying degree examinations.
3. Candidates belonging to the OBC category must submit a photocopy of the category certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India issued after 31.03.2023 by a competent authority.
4. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PD must submit the requisite certificate from a competent authority in the prescribed format by Govt. of India at the time of the Interview.
Selection Process
1. The final merit for making offers of admission to the program will be based on their aggregate performance in CAT 2025, followed by an Interview and their Work Experience.Final-year students of relevant undergraduate programs who have completed the qualifying examination requirement can also apply.
2. In case of non-availability of the mark sheet of the final examination at the time of the Interview due to delay in the announcement of their results, candidates may be allowed to appear in the Interview on the basis of their aggregate results up to a pre-final year in which the percentage should not be less than as specified above under essential requirements. However, they will be required to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the required percentage or CGPA latest by September 30, 2025.
Admission Process
1. Initial shortlisting of candidates, for sending the invitation letters for Interviews shall be done based on their performance in CAT 2025.
2. JEE or JEE (Adv.) qualified IIT Graduates with CGPA 7 and above on a 10-point scale will be exempted from CAT and will be directly called for a Personal Interview.
3. A common merit list shall be prepared on the basis of scores of selection criteria for releasing the offer letters.
4. Invitation letters shall be sent to the shortlisted candidates for Interviews through email. This information will also be available on the Institute's website.
5. Interviews are tentatively scheduled in March 2025 at IIT Roorkee, Greater Noida, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
Executive MBA - 2 yrs
Eligibility Criteria
1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited school or university with at least 65% marks or equivalent grade points (60% marks for SC/ST community members).
2. Four years of relevant work experience after after completing bachelor's degree.
3.Meet any one from (i), (ii), or (iii)
(i). University ranking: You are a graduate of a university that ranks within the top 500 NIRF in any category as per the latest ranking data or any other recognized Foreign University that ranks within top 1000 as per the latest QS ranking data. (check NIRF ranking for your university here)
(ii). Your work experience is in:
-a company with a turnover greater than INR 300 crore for the last 3+ years, or
-central or state government departments, or
-a reputed NGO having pan-India or global operations
(iii). Aptitude Tests: You have qualified the latest CAT, GMAT or XAT (the cut-off will vary for different cohorts)
Selection Process
After you submit your application, IIT Roorkee admissions team will review your application.
If your application is found to meet the preliminary eligibility conditions, you will be invited by IIT Roorkee for an interview.
After the interview round, if your candidature is found fit for the Executive MBA degree, you will receive an offer of admission from IIT Roorkee.
